Hello, I use batctl on my program and currently parse the output from stdout.
Would it be possible to have a -j switch similar to ip ?

Will the set of command be expanded in the future ? I see no mention of throughput_meter with a json output for example.

This is not planned. But if anyone has an extremely good use case and wants to implement it - he/she/it can propose a patch.
